Pocket Full of Gold® - Hemerocallis x ‘Poczam’

BLOOMS TWICE AS NICE

There is no doubt that Stella D ‘Oro is an exceptional daylily.  But, what if you could get an everblooming dwarf daylily that flowers even more prolific than Stella?  Well, you don’t have to wonder too much because Lake County Nursery has introduced Pocket Full of Gold®.

Dwarf in form, Pocket Full of Gold® reaches a height of approximately 18 inches.  It has a neat and tidy appearance ideal for mass plantings, borders, edging or in the landscape foundation or perennial boarder.

It offers a gigantic display of clear, lemon-yellow flowers and because it is a re-bloomer, if gives you color over an extended blooming season

This U.S.D.A. Zone 4 plant is disease, insect and salt tolerant.  It prefers dry to moist soil, sun or partial shade and a pH of 6.0 to 7.5.

Keep in mind that if you’re looking for a winning combination in the landscape, Pocket Full of Gold® and daffodils make a perfect partnership.  Inter-plant in equal quantities one foot apart.  After the early spring daffodils have finished blooming, foliage from your Pocket Full of Gold® emerges and hides the bulbs foliage until it dies down.  Then, of course, it will begin blooming mid-summer and continue until late in the season.
