Lake County Nursery

The Lake County area, situated on the southern shore of Lake Erie, is truly a land of opportunity. Many have recognized northeastern Ohio as an area with great potential for the cultivation of nursery operations.

Prehistoric glaciers blessed the area with many soil types, perfect for plant growth. Warm lake winds provide an ideal growing climate with average annual high temperatures of 58^o and lows of 41^o. Minimum temperatures range between -10^o to -5^o Fahrenheit (ZONE 6a).

Our growing season averages 165 days. Normal yearly rainfall is 32.5 inches. Average yearly snowfall is 53 inches.

Lake County is located in the middle of America's largest concentration of consumer and industrial markets. It is in the center of a 500 mile circle containing half the nations population, allowing us to offer overnight delivery to most of our customers.
