The first step in the field tree production is to check the root systems for any damages. Then, take the tree to the field to plant. It’s important to make sure the tree is planted at the correct depth with the proper irrigation.
During the first winter planting season, Lake County Nursery goes through the field and trims the trees. Any dead or diseased branches are cut. Water spouts are also removed because of the damages they can cause to the plants.
